Easy Plan This Week

Clarkson waterfront walk

📍 Clarkson

Start with a walk through Jack Darling Memorial Park, where you get lake views, a stretch of the waterfront trail, and easy access to Rattray Marsh. Then head to The Daly Grind, a Clarkson café, market, and co-working spot with excellent coffee, tea, and locally renowned scones. It’s an easy way to turn a waterfront walk into a proper outing.

Restaurant of the Week

Indian Cuisine by the Lake

Indian Cuisine by the Lake offers a rich selection of curries, biriyani, tandoori dishes, and more.

📅 Open daily, 11:00am to 10:00pm; until 11:00pm Fri-Sat

📍 56A Lakeshore Rd E, Port Credit

If you want a Port Credit dinner with more flavour than the usual, start here.

This family-run spot has been serving Port Credit since 1984.

You can watch the chefs at work in the open kitchen while fresh naan, tandoori meats from the clay oven, and rich curries come together.

Start with the butter chicken, then tear into the garlic naan while it’s still warm.

After that, go for the biriyani, chicken tikka masala, or a thali, a platter with a little bit of everything.

There is plenty here for meat eaters, vegetarians, and everyone in between.

You can also order from them on Uber Eats, and they offer catering too if you need food for a larger group.

Book ahead before the weekend rush.

Eat This Week

Port Side Pizza & Wings Co.

Margherita pizza with fresh basil, melted mozzarella, and tomato sauce.

📅 Open daily, 11:00am to 10:00pm; until 11:00pm Fri-Sat

📍 56 Lakeshore Rd E Unit B, Port Credit

If you’re in the mood for pizza and wings in Port Credit, Port Side is a very easy yes.

Think hand-stretched dough, house-made marinara, generous cheese, and slices that feel like a proper meal. The Dockside Pepperoni is a strong place to start, especially if you like a classic pizza done well.

Then get wings with one of their house-made dips on the side. The creamy garlic is one of the things people talk about most, and it is well worth adding.

It has that old-school neighbourhood pizza-shop feel that people get attached to fast, with enough range on the menu to go from a classic pepperoni night to a spicy vodka rosé or butter chicken pizza.

They also do Uber Eats delivery, plus catering for parties, office orders, and bigger group meals.

They’re the perfect answer to your next Port Credit pizza craving.
